LOST A-Team

Watchback: Confidence Man

Its interesting that Jack wants to kill Saywer and Kate asks him why he doesn't just do it and then Jack said that "Were not savages yet" Well in season 4 look like Jack devolved a bit when he tried to shoot Locke.

I love how the first time that we meet Sawyer in one of the first episodes he reading the letter, there's so much story told in that moment and now we find out whats in the letter.

Its also interesting how Locke really plays Sayid when Sayid confronts him about being knocked out. It was really Locke who did it, but then Locke played on the fight that Sayid had with Sawyer and even gives him a knife in order to lead sayid off his trail.

I love Charlie & Hurley's Peanut Butter conversation and Hurley telling him why he hadn't lost weight.

Sayid & Jacks part were interesting in this, Jack allowed Sayid to torture Sawyer, but in Season 2 Jack has second thoughts about it when he wants to torture Henry Gale (Ben). While it was great meeting Danielle, its to bad that Sayid stops with her, it would have been interesting if Sayid would have been able to explore more of the island and have some adventures.

Sawyer kept trying to act like a jerk, but he definitely has a conscience, he couldn't pull the scam when he saw the kid his age unlike the real sawyer, He took care of Casady and his baby, he told Jack about his run in with Christian. He even sacrificed himself by jumping off the helicopter. He had a relapse in season 2 like most of the characters, but he's really a good guy. He just seems bad at first.

I love the peanut Butter scene between Claire & Charlie at the end. This show has so many great little character moments mixed in with the main stories.

Lost scribe inks two-year deal

"Lost" scribe Liz Sarnoff has inked a two-year deal with ABC Studios that will keep her on the show while she's also developing projects for the studio.

Length of pact means Sarnoff will be able to continue on the show, where she's currently a supervising producer, until the end of its run in 2010. Deal also includes guaranteed development."

It's a dream situation," Sarnoff said. "I'm grateful I'll be able to stay with the show until the end.

This is a very special show. And at the same time, I can start thinking about what I want to do next. I've been on staffs and doing this for 10 years, thinking about the kind of shows I want to do and waiting for the right moment."

Sarnoff's credits include "Deadwood," "Crossing Jordan," "NYPD Blue" and "Big Apple."

New Details for Octagon Global and LOST Panel at Comic Con

http://the-odi.blogspot.com/2008/06/new-details-for-octagon-global-and-lost.html

Hey Losties,
So as you know we are gathering a good team of Losties and friends to make the trip to San Diego Comic Con. We will be live blogging from SDCC and the LOST Panel that will be held on Saturday (currently scheduled for 12 noon PST). It seems like tickets for Saturday when the LOST panel is scheduled are sold out, but if you have a ticket and want to join us, please email me at:
mrtheodi@gmail.com.

As most of you know ABC is planning on having a booth with a new company called Octagon Global Recruiting (OGR) that is a division of the Dharma Initiative. All that has been officially confirmed is that OGR is set up to recruit us the fans as members of the DI.

ABC has been hush hush about more details or plans, but thanks to a new source we seemed to have received some interesting details of what is planned.

Now, this is the first time we have some potential "spoilers" about Comic Con, so if you do NOT want to know or be spoiled, then STOP reading now. Additionally the information seems quite legit and we trust the source, but have no confirmation from ABC yet.

Plus, there is NO word on if anything from OGR or SDCC will ever make the show and the current rumors are that this will lead to a new LOST ARG leading into Season 5. So for many this is most likely not spoilery, but we want to be safe and warn you all.

Please do NOT email us asking who the source, is because we have promised to keep them anonymous, but if you want to know the information then click the following button to see more details.

This is just a SUMMARY of the information we received and yes we know some of it is stuff we knew already.

1) At the OGR recruitment booth there will be actors who will playing members of OGR recruiters.

2) They are there to promote and make us sign up to an "online recruiting game". The recruiters will stand next to computer terminals that are connected to the fake site, in order to help users create profiles and to guide them through a fake questionnaire.

3) A second group of individuals (3-4 actors) that are NOT the recruiters will also be at SDCC. No confirmation if they will be on the floor or at the booth yet, but most likely just the LOST Panel.

4) OGR will also be a part of the LOST Panel. There will be 4 members of OGR.5) As of today, no cast members confirmed to appear and the only word so far is that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will of course be there.

6) At the panel, the OGR recruiters will make a LIVE "performance" to recruit new members of Dharma.

7) The second group of individuals will make an appearance at some point during the performance to "throw a wrench" into the OGR's plans.

So to me it looks like another Rachel Blake type of incident is planned...?? Is this all the beginning of a new LOST Experience/Find815 game or perhaps even more than that....!?

This is what we have so far and hopefully we will get some more information soon. So keep checking back for more information and as soon as we have it, we will let you all know.NOTE: You can click on the
OGR button in this post or on the top right of this site to see all the posts about the OGR and find some more details.

Thanks for stopping by and namaste.

A PLACE WHERE MIRACLES HAPPEN

"Here, why don't you have a seat and watch this informative video. It has bunnies in it. Have a Diet Dharma Dew. I'll just be moving this trash bin into the vault. Yes, I know what the sign says."
I like that the door to the vault has a key-pad lock and someone just wrote The Numbers (presumably the combination to the lock) on the wall.
Pretty much the same cartoon I've done twice before, only this time drawn in a free to download and easy to learn drawing program called Google 3-D Sketch-Up. With several flaws corrected and text added with Photoshop.

Scenes From The Oceanic Six Publicity Tour

Shephard and Austen announce their engagement to Oprah during happier times. When asked why the dark-haired couple has a blond son, Kate makes a weak Chastity Bono reference and changes the subject.
An audience replies with stunned silence when Reyes announces that he's being followed by his dead friends from the plane crash and one of them is sitting right next to him.
All Oceanic Six Tour television appearances seem to be running the Octagon Recruiting ad.

EmmyWorthy? Lost's: The Constant

I put together a video in celebration of "The Constant" holding the key to an Emmy for Lost.

The best hour of TV I can remember - I said it then and i say it now after I put this together. I would have just put up all 42 minutes given a choice. YouTube restricts uploads to ten. I didn't want to do a 1st ans 2nd part, so I made edits that I hated. Otherwise - it is my favorite scenes condensed with the likely Emmy Clip at the end.

I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Thank you Paul for posting this for me.

Diet Dharma Dew

There is art.

Then there is "Holy Crap. in that real?!?!"

All Hail Barfy on the photo!! This looks real enough for Hurley to wash down with those ancient DI 9 FFTR731 Soda Crackers.

PepsiCo is SO missing the boat on this endorsement deal.

Thank you so very much Barfy the Dog for the fine job and for E-Mailing me this picture.

Watchback: The Moth

I liked this episode because it showed how tragic Charlies life was and what an interesting character he was. Also how great things used to be when the show was more character based with its great characters moments. Its sad knowing now that the reason why Charlie was on drugs is because his brother was taking and that his brother is off drugs because he sold his piano and ran off on him. Its interesting the drug talk that Jack has with Charlie when in the future he becomes a major drug user.

I love how Michael is able to use his construction expertise to help dig Jack out. I wish they would have used that more besides the season 2 time when he found the Hatches blast doors. There are also some great Sawyer moments in this episode that will lead up to his episode.

Its also interesting to note the futility of Sayid's walkie talkie plan since the Looking Glass was interrupting all radio broadcasts. I wonder if they would have figured out that something was blocking the transmissions if Locke had not knocked out Sayid and destroyed his radio equipment.

LOST's "The Constant" is Emmy Worthy

Congrats to LOST and Henry Ian Cusack for making the Emmy short list for "The Constant".

Remembering the feeling that episode generated upon first viewing, I believe I said something about it being the best hour of TV I may have ever seen. That was a popular opinion and it appears the TV Muckities share some of that enthusiasm.

On a personal note, love seeing Dexter on the list as well. I have a "Lost-Like" affection for that show.

TOP 10 DRAMA SERIES FINALISTS

"Lost" ("The Constant")
"Mad Men" (Pilot, "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes")
"The Tudors" (#205)

As a matter of interest, here are the nominees for Best Comedy Series:

TOP 10 COMEDY SERIES FINALISTS

Lost: Taller Ghost Walt Talks About Who Has to Go Back to the Island

One of the (many) burning questions inspired by the Lost finale is, "To whom was Ben referring when he says that everyone has to go back to the Island?" Meaning, who, exactly, is everyone?
Does everyone include Ji-Yeon, who was conceived on the Island but never took a breath there? Does it include helicopter pilot Frank, who just stopped by for a three-hour tour? And perhaps most intriguingly, does it include Walt, who left "early," and whose father has surely already paid the piper?

Now, I can't tell you yet if Ben's edict includes the babies, but I can tell you what Malcolm David Kelley thinks about Walt's situation! Click in to find out his take on Walt's destiny:

When asked at the 34th Annual Saturn Awards in Universal City, Calif., if he thought Walt had to go back with the rest of the gang, Malcolm said, "Yeah, I think I should go back to the Island and stir up a little trouble back there. I think that'd be pretty cool." Agreed!

Has he talked to the writers about guesting, recurring or becoming a regular on either of the show's final two seasons? Said Malcolm: "They haven't told me anything right now, but if and when they tell me, I'll go out to Hawaii and start working."

In the meanwhile, between now and the return of Lost, hang in there to see Malcolm in a new film he's very enthusiastic about. He said, "I just finished a movie in North Carolina called
Mississippi Damned. It should be coming out some time next year, and it's a drama taking place in the '80s and '90s. It's a very good movie—really deep." Can't wait!Anyway, taller ghost Walt back on the Island for reals? Sounds absolutely fab to me—what do you think? Post in the comments.

HP Native Gets 'Lost' Elizabeth Mitchell keeps ties to her Park Cities roots

By Cassie ClarkStaff Writer

Actress Elizabeth Mitchell credits her Park Cities upbringing with aiding her success. One of the stars of the television series Lost, she was in town last weekend for an event at Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts.Elizabeth Mitchell, a star on the popular television show Lost, has made it big, and she credits her Park Cities upbringing for her success.

The actress landed the part of Juliet Burke in 2006 and continues to play a important role in the ensemble drama. But before she was battling island monsters and kissing TV hunk Matthew Fox, she was learning her ABCs at University Park Elementary.

“I loved growing up in Highland Park,” Mitchell said. “I loved the trees especially.”

Mitchell was in town last weekend to serve as mistress of ceremonies for an event at her alma mater, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas.

The 38-year-old blonde grew up in the Park Cities under the wing of her parents, Southern Methodist University law school graduates Joe and Josephine Mitchell.

Her parents now work as tax and corporate attorneys in Dallas and still live in the home Mitchell grew up in on Princeton Avenue.

“I’m grateful to the community also and to my parents,” Mitchell said. “They gave me a tremendous work ethic.”

Mitchell attended Highland Park district schools up until her sophomore year of high school.
Following a passion for acting, Mitchell transferred to Booker T. Washington High School, which is also the alma mater of several other celebrity artists, including Grammy winners Norah Jones and Erykah Badu.

“It made all the difference in the world,” said Mitchell’s mother, Josephine. “She just was just so excited to be in a school where there were actors and artists.”

Karon Cogdill, one of Mitchell’s theater teachers at Booker T. Washington, said she isn’t surprised that Mitchell ended up in a high-profile role.

“She was such a tenacious student,” Cogdill said. “Her career has been so varied. It’s really exciting because she’s played so many different kinds of things, and that was true of her in high school too.”

Elizabeth showed an interest in acting even as a young child, her mother said.
“She had been putting on shows at home, she and her friends,” Josephine Mitchell said. “She thought it was so much fun.”

After graduating high school, Mitchell attended Stevens College in Colombia, Mo., intending to continue her dramatic pursuits.

“I kind of made a deal with my parents that I would pursue whatever I wanted to, as long I pursued an education,” Mitchell said.

After college, she headed to New York City, where she landed a few roles in TV commercials.
After minor roles on several TV shows, including JAG and ER, she was cast opposite Tim Allen in the 2002 movie The Santa Clause 2.

But nothing compared to the excitement she felt when a few years later she was offered the role of Juliet on Lost, which was heading into its third season.

After working on several failed TV shows, she hadn’t expected such a prominent role.
“You don’t expect to take that big of a leap,” she said. “The show was as huge as it ever had been, and that’s why I thought it would never happen.”

The show’s producers auditioned 12 women for the role, but the writers, who had worked with Mitchell before, had written the part with her in mind. As soon as she accepted the job, she said she immediately called her mom with the good news.

“It was very exciting,” Josephine Mitchell said, but admitted at the time she hadn’t seen the show. “I got the first two seasons and had a Lost marathon.”

Mitchell said she enjoys playing Juliet, a character whose motives are constantly in question.
“She’s designed to be mistrusted,” she said. “I like playing her because she has a reason for what she does. She has a lot of things that I do admire in a person; she has a tremendous amount of empathy.”

Mitchell said the show’s cast members get along surprisingly well.

“Everyone sits together by the fire on the beach [on the set],” she said. “Because [the show] changes every week there’s always something new to talk about.”
Which Lost character is her favorite?

“I actually really like [Matthew Fox’s character] Jack,” she said. “I find him to a be a tortured and interesting character.”

While now she splits her time between the Lost set in Hawaii and her husband and 2-year-old son near Seattle, she makes the trip to Dallas a few times a year. At Christmas, she and her family attend services at Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Mitchell’s two sisters, Kate and Kristina, also attended Highland Park schools and graduated from Highland Park High School.

Moriarty Is Giving Us Some Love

Moriarty has visited the chat room that Gotilk started. I know he reads the talkback page, and I do believe Moriarty has visited the blog as well.

Well, today, Moriarty dropped a message in the chat room.

[17:12] Okay... getting ready to go shoot a G4 special about LOST.
[17:13] Gonna throw the blog and the chatroom a reference, so let's see if we can get you guys some summer traffic.
[17:13] Is there any crazy theory you guys would like to hear on the special? A pet theory of the room perhaps?

and the follow up:

[20:59] <+Moriarty> Cool. Did the appearance. They may screenshot the chat room and the blog in the actual special as we talk about it.

It was a short sweet visit, but he is still logged on and that means he will see our response. If you don't wish to join the chat, just leave a comment here regarding your thoughts or ideas. He may just be reading it!!

Thank you for the love, Moriarty.

The Room 23 Gang

Down the Rabbit Hole?

As Bigus Fishus posted, Hans Van Eeghen is the name we are given as "Octagon Global Recruiting" finally replied to the emails that we all sent after the commercial aired during the Season 4 Finale of Lost.

And as Lostpedia has noted
The Van Eeghen Group is a member of a very exclusive club, The Henokiens.

Take a trip to the Home of the Henokiens, and the Association's moniker gives us...

And as we are aware, The Orchid station identifies itself with:

Is it a coincidence? Well I think we know better with Lost. One of the links on the Henokien's page is to take a trip in their "Time Machine" (Makes "quote" marks with fingers). And the Orchid Station is used for Time Traveling Bunnies, so the "Time Machine" (Makes "quote" marks with fingers) is not figurative, but quite real in the context of the show.

So the monikers are similar, but if we are dealing with a literal "Time Machine" (Makes "quote" marks with fingers) than the ripples or circles make sense, but the split, the whale tail at he end of the spiral...

What could be the literal interpretation? Divergent outcomes throught he ripples of time? Save the Whales? If it is intended to mirror the Henokiens, and is made to represent a station that allows travel through time, and it weighs more than a duck, then it is made of wood.

And therefore?

You really didn't think I was going anywhere with this, did you?

A Diet Dharma Dew to those worthy of Sir Bedeviere's conclusion to my logic.

Who is Hans Van Eeghen?

For those of you who are following what may be the next Lost ARG.

So far a name has been found that was carbon copied on the replies
The name is Hans Van Eeghen.

Who is Hans Van Eeghen?
I found a few interesting tid bits when I googled his name. Could he be connected or related to the De Groots like the search results revealed?
Also, I sent him an email and this is the auto reply that I received.

Thank you for your email. I am currently on assignment in the field. I will contact you as soon as I am back in the office.

Mikhail Bakunin, Danielle Rousseau, Dr. Ethan Rom, Richard Alpert.

Watchback: House of the Rising Sun

This episode touched on a lot of themes that would come back later. Biggest of all would be the separation of the survivors Both in this season they brooke up half wanting to survive and the other half wanting to be rescued.

It also dealt with the watch which later turned up in season 4 when Michael traded it for a gun to kill himself. But that watch also came to represent Michael & Jins eventual friendship.
This episode also was important because it showed how some characters who were jerk eventually because nice like Jin & Sawyer and others like Sun proved to be more two faced and self serving.

Both Charlie & Hurley had a lot of great lines with Jack & Kate, plus we got a nice end to a bee chase. Speaking of which we were introduce to Adam & Eve which JAck said had to have been at least 40 years dead which would put them just before Dharma or even during. Maybe Ben found Annie cheating on him and killed them both, maybe it was to of the Hostiles? TheBlack & WHite stones reminded me of how Darlton said that Jack was bot the Man of Science & the Man of Faith and howhe has constantly been in that inbattle with himself.

I also really liked the Locke Charlie moments when he was helping him start to get off drugs.

Lost' Stars Evangeline Lilly And Dominic Monaghan Set To Marry

The actors - who split briefly earlier this year - are said to be planning a quiet ceremony in Hawaii, as a tribute to 'Lost', the hit TV show on which they met.

A source said: "Evangeline and Dominic have been spending a lot of time together during the show's hiatus and are very excited about the future."

"Evangeline accepted Dom's proposal while they were away together and they both agree Hawaii is the perfect place for the wedding - both as a location and for sentimental reasons."
However, the pair is in no rush to tie the knot, and are happy living as an engaged couple for the time being.

The source added: "The wedding might be next year or maybe the year after that. It's another 'Lost' mystery!"

Evangeline stars as Kate Austen in the TV show, which follows a group of plane crash survivors as they attempt to find a way off a mysterious island.

Dominic co-starred as Charlie Pace until he was killed off at the end of season three

Lost:«I only have to keep track of John Locke...»

During the Festival Großes Fernsehen, actor Terry O'Quinn came to Cologne in order to promote the German premiere of „Lost“'s fourth season on new premium cabler FOX Channel. Christian Junklewitz and Dominik Ahrens spoke with him for Serienjunkies. Right at the start of the interview, a very calm and kind O'Quinn cleared the rumour (spread, e.g., on wikipedia) that he has ever been a bodyguard: „If I was gonna start some kind of rumor, it would be one that I wouldn't have to back up...“

How do you keep up with everything that is going on on «Lost»? There are so many places on the island, so many time frames. How do you cope? I only have to keep track of John Locke. I only have to know what he knows. In fact, the more difficult challenge is not paying attention to the things I am not supposed to know. John Locke doesn't have to keep track of everything, because he only knows what he knows.

But you have to keep track where on the time line all these things are supposed to happen to John Locke? Yes, but in Locke's case, so far, he has only had the past and the present. As far as I know. Nobody has told me anything else. Both of those things are very clear to me and they are very clear to him. So, it's really not a challenge to me. It's more complicated for the fans of „Lost“.

How far in advance do you know what is going to happen to John? And I mean this more in terms of character development rather than plot development. I don't know far at all. We are about to start shooting season five in the States, and I don't know how that begins. At the beginning of season four, we may have gotten the script two weeks before we began to shoot. By the end of the season, we got the script the day before we started to shoot. So, we don't know far in advance. The writers are very secretive, even with us. I would prefer they didn't tell me things I don't need to know because these are viewers' secrets I have to protect. I don't want them. It's not necessary.

So, the writers don't even tell you: We want to take John in this or that direction? You only get your screenplay, and that's it? That's pretty much it. What I learned is this: Don't ask. Because they can't tell you. If I had a cast of twenty-some people I wouldn't tell any of them anything, ANYTHING.

There is a rumor that your colleague Matthew Fox is the only cast member who knows what the solution of the mystery in „Lost will be? Is that true?“

I have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks he does. If he came and told me „I know what's gonna happen“, I would say „Ok, what?“, and then he would say „Well, I can't tell you“, and I'd say „Well, I don't believe you.“

Elizabeth Mitchell ponders the mysteries she protects as former 'Other' Juliet Burke…

Elizabeth Mitchell arrived on the Lost scene in Season Two, right as the show had advanced from monster hit to cultural phenomenon. And it was an experience unlike any she’d ever had before in her career. “Yes, it was a phenomenon,” says the actress, who stars on the series as the mysterious fertility expert Juliet Burke. “I stepped onto ER after it was a phenomenon too. Now Lost is something completely different, obviously. It wasn’t necessarily daunting. The excitement was already there. Everything else I’d do, I’d start a show with the expectation that it probably wouldn’t go. In this case, I knew it was going. So, if anything, it amped up the pressure for me, to make sure I tried to rise to the occasion.”

Heading into her Lost stint, Mitchell recalls, the show’s producers clued her in to some things to come about Juliet, but not everything. In fact, most of what they told her centred on developments that would unfold in her first six to 10 episodes. “At my audition they said she was a natural leader and they told me they didn’t want her to be too on the nose,” she says. “They wanted us to figure out our own voice for her. I thought, ‘Well, that’s nice. That’s kind of what I was going to do anyway.’ So it was fun. It was a fun audition. It was one of the more interesting collaborations I think I have ever had on a character.”

Juliet’s assorted twists and turns – is she an Other with a disdain for her fellow Others? What’s up with her and Ben (Michael Emerson)? Or her and Jack (Matthew Fox) for that matter? – have been exciting to Mitchell. However, she hastens to add, they’ve not totally shocked her. “The developments have been, I think, very complicated and juicy and good, but they haven’t been a surprise because I knew she was complicated,” Mitchell says. “I knew from the beginning that they were sure where she was going, but they definitely didn’t want anyone to know. I think we have played on those shades of grey with her and played on the line with her, and that’s been great. That was neat. I think that was all of us together deciding to do that.
“It’s a unique experience working on Lost,” she continues. “These guys are really good. They’re able to take whatever you give and run with it, and I’m very impressed with it. But it’s just like life with Juliet; I don’t know the ending. I know what I’m going for. I know what my objective is. But I have no knowledge as to the very end point of things. I’ve always assumed that I’m going to die, either for someone or for someone else, but I’m not really sure how that’s going to happen.”

And what’s caught Mitchell at least a little off-guard when it comes to Juliet? “I knew she was very kind, but I didn’t know she was as empathetic as she was,” the actress replies. “It was a pleasant surprise."

(Rumor) More Widmore/Ben Scenes?

Hey Dark. Was back at my dad's office today accross from where they shot the Ben/Widmore and Widmore/Sun scenes. One of my dad's mates, another lost addict, said that he had gone down to the set to see what was going on about a month ago and was told by one of the people working there that they were told to keep all the set pieces from the Widmore scene in storage as they were going to be used later on. Thought this was interesting and that we might be seeing Widmore's apartment in the near future, maybe directly after his meeting with Ben. Nicky

(Rumor) Nestor Carbonell in Talks for Full Season Contract

Hey guys, let's not waste any time and get started shall we =]. My sources have told me ABC has contacted Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) to negotiate a full season contract. Nestor has made several guest appearances in episodes with the most recent being in the Season 4 Finale "There's No Place Like Home." Nestor Carbonell's character Richard Alpert, is said to be playing a larger role in the upcoming season which will require him to shoot more episodes. Hopefully he will be able to strike a long-term deal so he can stay where he belongs instead of some show on another network *cough* NBC *cough* and be ran into the ground.

Carlton Cuse Interview from China TV/Film Forum

LOST writer Carlton Cuse, along with Ugly Betty writer were a part of a TV and Film Forum in China to discuss their shows and answer some questions about the industry.

Here is a little summary of the key moments from Cuse including some of the spoilers he revealed for Season 5. There is also a tidbit about OGR at Comic-Con.Thanks to EJ for the details and the heads up about the videos.

1) Jack v Locke (Science v. Faith) - One of the fundamental themes of show. In Season 5 Jack will become more a Man of Faith and Locke will become more a Man of Science. Locke believes his destiny is tied to this island. This will be a story line that we will explore in the upcoming seasons.

2) We will learn what happened to Locke and the others. Also, now what is Locke's destiny since he is in "charge" of the island? He has committed his destiny to this island and thinks that it will lead him to enlightenment. We will eventually see if he is right or not.

3) Locke's story is not over. There is a famous guy named Jesus Christ that was resurrected.

4) We already know what our path is and people make mistakes in theories, because there is no simple answer and they do not have enough information

5) Sawyer is his favorite: Handsome, charming and dangerous, everything he would want to be.

6) He gives a shout out to Skaters and Jaters and then mentions that we call them Darlton. Kate will end up with one of the two eventually.

7) New LOST interactive game start at Comic-Con, register to become a member of Dharma Initiative. Depending on how you do on the test you will be a Physicist, Chemist, or even a Workman.

8) Production starts in August and Season 5 will air from January to May 2009.

9) Talks a about Piracy, online downloading, some things about writing and more.

10) Does being a producer affect your story writing? No, we write first with out being a producer and then put on producers "hat". Explains this is the reason why we got an extra hour for Season 4 finale. Do not want to censor themselves as producers.

11) Discusses picketing during the writers strike and why it happened.

Jin Kwon Vs. Mikhail Bakunin

Daniel Dae Kim and Andrew Divoff engage in horseplay on the set of "Lost" while rehearsing for the proposed "Shang Chi, Master Of King-Fu Vs. Nick Fury, Agent Of S.H.I.E.L.D." movie. (Divoff later learned that Samuel L. Jackson had been cast in the role of Fury.)

Cindy, Emma and Zach Go To The Zoo.

In the AICN talk-back Lucid Dreamstate asked about the flight attendent showing up outside the fishbiscuit cage. I responded thusly:
- - - - -
Cindy Chandler was the stewardess aboard Flight 815. She observed Charlie Paces eratic behavior, alerted her fellow flight attendants and they pursued him into the rest room at the front end of the plane very shortly before the crash. Apparently she was directed to return to the rear of the plane - she was in the back when the plane broke apart and landed with the tail section survivors (tailies).

During the trip to the beach, she instinctively took the rear guard position and was "taken" by the Others.

Once relocated to the Others camp on the Alcatraz Island she realized that the best way to prevent the kidnapped children Zach and Emma from being frightened was to act as if everything was all right. That accounts for her apparently Stockholm Syndrome-like adaptation to the Others community.

This cannot be confirmed but I believe Cindy and the children are still at the Others camp with the children and some of the members of Juliet's book club.

Above is a picture I located - Cindy, Emma and Zach outside the cages.

Latino Review Pins Down Richard Alpert....He's Likely to be a Regular!!!

Latino Review has an interview with our favorite Dorian Gray himself, Nestor Carbonell aka Richard Alpert. In the interview, Nestor is asked what he has lined up, and he states, "I'm working on 'Lost' so I will be returning to that in August." So, fellow Losties, it would seem that, since production on Season 5 begins in August, our man may just be promoted to series regular (fingers crossed).

LatinoReview: What do you have coming up next after this?

Carbonell: I'm working on 'Lost' so I will be returning to that in August. I'm also current working, coincidentally, on the Batman cartoon. This is called 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold'. It's the next Warner Brothers version of Batman, the cartoon.

Watchback: White Rabbit

This is the first episode where Jack starts really taking over as the actual leader of the survivors. Before he was looked to as a leader, but this is where he actually accepts his role that the Bai Ling character tattoos on his arm as a leader of others. Its interesting what motivates him & Locke both of them have something to prove to a Father figure, which is exactly what motivates Jack. in this episode Jack follows his ghost Father just like Alice followed the White Rabbit into the hole. Jack almost fell into a hole, but Locke saved him and taught him about the importance of taking on the mantle of leadership.
Its interesting how manipulative both of Locke & Jack's parents are and how both of their actions ultimately lead them to the flight. Its also interesting Locke has been the one who has ultimately been the one to always try to push Jack to be the leader that he needed to be. First he helped him decide to be leader and as Darlton said in a season 2 commentary that Jack is in reality both the Man of Faith & the Man of Science. Locke has always tried to get Jack to believe. Locke was even the one who when everything went badly because he left Locke gave his life to get Jack to come back to the island. I Think of Jack as the reluctant hero and Locke as the master teacher who constantly tries to get him to stand up and to be the hero that he needs to be. To believe in himself and to be who he is supposed to be. Both have an important role to play, both have a different journey to take.
Its interesting that Jack starts seeing Christian, As of yet we have not seen how he died. The morgue said it was a heart attack from alcohol. Maybe he drank himself to death after Sawyer left him at the bar, but I'm guessing not. Somehow he died, but I'm guessing that it had more to do with the island and its power & pull even off the island. I'm guessing that island somehow influenced Christian to visit Claire and somehow while doing that the island somehow killed him because Jacob needed him to help watch over Jack since it also needed Jack to be a main part of what went on, on the island. Its also an interesting sign of Christian and the fact that he is working for Jacob by the fact that we see a bit of the Smoke Monster in the treetops when Jack sees Christian when Boone is ragging on him for not leaving him and going after the drowning girl.
This is also the episode where Claire & Charlie start their relationship Although there is the Greatest Hits flashback where they actually first meet. I also love the Sawyer & Shannon moment where her money is not good here when she wants suntan lotion.

Walkabout

I love this episode. Sun becomes babysitter for the first time Walt.

Latter she watches Aaron.

Jack seems to have started taking over making tough decission in this episode and is looked to as leader.

I love the we hunt moment where Locke throw his knife.

Charlie's crush on Shannon is funny. Its would have been funny if she would have like instead.

Its also interesting seeing Locke wheelchair when Boone is telling Jack about Rose not eatting.

It would have also been interesting to have seen Sayid & Kate get together as a couple.

I like seeing Locke playing his game as the underdog talking about destiny knowing that Abaddon had told him abouthow he need to go on a walkabout and I Helen is even mention in it all. Its interesting how much losing the real Helen just messed him up.

I love Rose and her moments with Jack or Charlie, she's like the heart of the series.

Kate does a lot of tree climbing in the series.

Its seem like a boar runs into some trees and the monster comes out. I remember him telling Eko that it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seene. He also is given the boar he was chasing. almost like Abraham's Ram caught in the Thicket after the angel stopped him from sacrificing Issac. The Island maybe helped him find & catch it?

I love the Charlie, Hurley Fishing scene.

This is also the episode where the seed are planted about the Tailies and of Christian.

And Locke says "Don't tell me what I can't do" for the first of many time.
Extras
THis episode was almost called Lord of the Files.
They tryed to keep blues & Green out of Flashbacks.
A bonding scene got cut out between Locke & Kate where Kate ask Locke his name.
A wheelchair was inserted into the Pilot episode.

The Vile Vorticies
In the picture above and below, you have a variety of answers...many of each could be a prior location of the island, if you follow the following logic. Yemi's plane, Amelia Earhart, The Black Rock... as easy as those things could have been transported through the Vile Vortices to the Island...the question is, could the Island use these same Vortices to transport itself? Juliet's transport via the Bermuda Vorticy, Yemi's plane via the Algerian Megalithe...if people and things can be transported why not places? The Island moved, it had to move somewhere, and more to the point - it had to move SOMEHOW? So would not occum's razor suggest the same technological/mystical/magical means to move people would be used to move the island too? No, really, I'm asking?? I'm a shrink not a physicist. It just makes sense to me.

I know - there be a whole lot of assumin' goin' on. If we assume the Vile Vorticies is a part of the equation for the Orchid's power. If we assume the vorticies are fixed in space but not in time - that you caould appear exactly where you are supposed to, but the when is a bit more complicated (see Ben's chat with the lovely hotel clerk regarding the date and YEAR in Episode 9, The Shape of Things to Come). And Assume - the island will find vorticies that are in water...to appear over land or for Christ's sake, over a city, would be a catastrophe. I can't rule it out...and these are assumptions albeit week ones, but maybe there is a failsafe that moves the island through Vorticies that are in water. Or over Canada. There's nothing important in Canada, especially near Toronto to crush with an island, Is there? ;>} Biggus Fishus ;>}

So, where and when could the Island be? Your answers in the comments section below.
