Emerson recently dissected his Ben Linus role for Entertainment Weekly, saying: "John Locke always wanted answers. Benjamin Linus always had answers, or gave the impression that he had answers. so there was an economy of information going on between them. But now that economy is upended in the show. I don't know where we're at now."
