Day 41 - Monday, 1 November 2004
"Deus Ex Machina"
Locke and Boone find the Beechcraft.
Boone speaks to Bernard and the other tailies via the radio in the Beechcraft just before the plane crashes to the ground.
"The Other 48 Days"
Ana Lucia believes Boone is one of the Others and shuts off the radio.
Eko breaks his silence to comfort Ana Lucia.
"Deus Ex Machina"
Locke carries Boone back to the caves, tells Jack that Boone fell off a cliff, then goes to bang on the Hatch in despair.
"Live Together, Die Alone"
Desmond contemplates suicide and discovers Penelope's letter inside his Our Mutual Friend. He hears Locke banging on the Hatch and he shines a light up the shaft to investigate. The light inspires Locke, and Desmond realises the outside world hasn't been destroyed (by the system failure).
"Jin Has a Temper-Tantrum on the Golf Course"
Jin's failure to score a putt on the golf-course causes him to break down about the lack of communication and his unfortunate luck on the Island to a baffled Hurley and Michael. (NOTE: This date is confirmed in Issue 18 of the Official Lost Magazine)
"Do No Harm"
Jack fails to save Boone's life, and realizes Locke lied about the cause of Boone's injuries.
Claire gives birth to Aaron.
Day 42 - Tuesday, 2 November 2004
"The Glass Ballerina"
George W. Bush is re-elected as President of the United States.
"Do No Harm"
Jack tells Shannon that Boone has died, and blames Locke.
"The Greater Good"
Locke appears at Boone's funeral. Jack attacks Locke, claiming he could have saved Boone's life if Locke had told the truth.
Shannon steals a gun from the gun case and tries to kill Locke, but Sayid stops her.
Sayid interrogates Locke about the Beechcraft and confiscates the Nigerian smuggler's gun from him. Sayid demands that Locke take him to the Hatch.
Day 43 - Wednesday, 3 November 2004
"Born to Run"
Sayid takes Jack to the Hatch.
Arzt warns Michael that it is nearly the Monsoon season and the raft has to be launched as soon as possible.
Sun and Kate try to make Jin sick by poisoning his water. Sun wants to stop him risking his life on the raft, Kate wants his place on the raft.
Michael drinks the water and falls sick; he blames Sawyer.
Sawyer claims Kate framed him because she's a fugitive who wants to evade rescue by the authorities.
Jack learns Sun & Kate were the poisoners, but tells nobody.
"Tropical Depression"
Arzt confesses to Michael that he made up the monsoon season story to get them to launch the raft as soon as possible.
Day 44 - Thursday, 4 November 2004
"Exodus, Part 1"
Rousseau warns the survivors that the Others are coming.
Hurley and Rousseau are taken to the Hatch.
Jack organizes an expedition to the Black Rock to get dynamite to blow open the Hatch.
Walt gives Vincent to Shannon, to take care of her. She promises to look after him until he gets back.
Jin and Sun reconcile when she hands him a notebook with korean-to-english translations and pronunciations to help him communicate with Michael, Sawyer, and Walt. They apologize to each other, make amends, and Jin boards the raft, telling her he must do this to save her.
The raft is launched.
"Exodus, Part 2"
Arzt blows himself up.
Rousseau kidnaps Aaron; Charlie and Sayid set out to bring him back.
Locke is nearly pulled underground by the Monster. He tells Jack that he believes they were all brought to the Island for a reason, and that Boone's death was "A sacrifice the Island demanded" as part of a test.
Hurley discovers the Numbers inscribed on the the Hatch. He tries to put out the fuse, but. Locke blows up the Hatch.
the Others shoot Sawyer, kidnap Walt, and destroy the raft.
"Man of Science, Man of Faith"
Shannon pursues Vincent into the jungle. She sees Walt, soaking wet. He whispers something then disappears.
"Adrift"
Kate and Locke enter the Hatch. Desmond takes them captive.
Desmond makes Locke enter numbers into the Swan computer.
"Man of Science, Man of Faith"
Jack enters the Hatch and recognizes Desmond (who is holding Locke at gunpoint).
"Adrift"
Michael and Sawyer float on wreckage from the raft; Jin disappears. Sawyer pulls the bullet out of his shoulder.
Day 45 to Day 49
"Room 23"
Juliet and Ben argue over how to deal with a child (probably Walt), who is being held in Room 23.
Day 45 - Friday, 5 November 2004
"Orientation"
The Swan computer is shot. Desmond is unable to repair it and runs away.
Sayid fixes the Swan computer. Locke and the survivors take over entering the Numbers.
"The Other 48 Days"
The tail-section survivors find Jin and tie him up, but he manages to run away.
"Adrift"
Sawyer and Michael wash ashore and see Jin running from the tail-section survivors. All three are captured and put in the Tiger Pit.
"The Other 48 Days"
Eko hits Ana Lucia and dumps her into the Tiger Pit to find out who Sawyer, Michael and Jin are.
Day 46 - Saturday, 6 November 2004
"Everybody Hates Hugo"
Michael, Sawyer and Jin are let out by the tail survivors and are taken to the Arrow bunker.
Hurley and Rose catalogue the Swan bunker food and arrange a feast for the survivors.
Hurley keeps some of the food in a secret stash.
